The game is divided into two phases:
Phase 1: Plan your budget
Choose your job and organize your expenses. Each expense category offers three options, each with different costs and a specific impact on the Green, Comfort, and Health scores. Some expenses are mandatory, others are optional. You can review your spending choices during the game, except for your job and housing, which cannot be changed later.
Phase 2: Manage your budget
You have 2 minutes per month to:
- Confirm or modify your spending choices to maximize your score while optimizing your balance;
- Decide whether to activate a random event, which could be positive or negative, with a maximum value of €100;
- Choose whether to invest part or all of your positive balance, earning a 2% interest.
How the final score is calculated:
The final score is based on four parameters:
- Balance – How much remains in your account at the end of the year, including investment interest.
- Green – Choose eco-friendly products to earn Green points.
- Comfort – Don’t sacrifice comfort in your purchases to accumulate Comfort points.
- Health – Select products for a healthy lifestyle to earn Health points.
If your final balance is negative, the Green Comfort and Health points will not be counted.
